As mentioned in the previous post, I was lucky enough to catch up with my mate Dave yesterday. A few months ago I sent out an email to my modelling mates asking if they had any old Flak 88mm guns that were surplus to their needs. I did not get much feedback at the time but on his arrival Dave opened a icecream container full of the cads and let me have three of the guns,mounts and travelling axles, along with a quad 20mm mount, and a old jerry motorcycle.Nice one, in return for this I chucked him a Revell Mk IV Panzer that I was never going to make, fair swap! The guns are Airfix and in getting away from the BEF Force for a few days I intend on a little wargaming conversion project with them.
