LOTD: Hope

Who could resist a sunny day? Those gorgeous rays of shimmering yellow light that brighten up every pavement, giving hope to a nation that has been ravaged by Typhoon Santi just recently. Saw the news this morning, and our brothers and sisters in the Northern Luzon region are starting to pick up the pieces again, with admirable smiles painted on their faces-Seemed like they're just happy to know that they're still alive, and don't seem to mind the harsh typhoon that has just passed. The Filipino spirit is indeed waterproof and may I add, calamity- proof.
